On November 21, 2016, the Digestive Health Center’s clinic and outpatient endoscopy moved to a new location in the Lavin Family Pavilion (259 E. Erie). This state of the art space offers the latest technology and a setting that fosters collaborative and coordinated care. The new location afforded the DHC with the opportunity to provide a truly integrated and multidisciplinary center by co-locating the outpatient clinics and endoscopy. The new DHC was carefully designed with patients and providers in mind. Patients now have access to an array of DHC services in a centralized location, making it easier to receive comprehensive care in a single visit. In addition, medical and surgical subspecialties have the ability to work in the same clinical space which allows for enhanced partnership and integration.

Consider voting for Northwestern Memorial Hospital as you cast your U.S. News and World Report ballot in the next few weeks.

U.S. News & World Report's 2017-18 "Best Hospitals" report ranked the Gastroenterology and GI Surgery program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital #1 in Illinois and one of the top 25 programs in the country. Although external recognition from U.S. News & World Report and other leading industry experts is important, it is what we do for our patients every day that makes us most proud.
